As a Solids Control Field Supervisor, you will be the on-site expert in solids control operations, demonstrating leadership to ensure safety, efficiency, and performance for our team and clients. In this vital role, you will: Lead and develop field teams through hands-on supervision, training, and performance assessments. Oversee daily operations at rig sites, ensuring safety, productivity, and equipment reliability. Collaborate closely with fellow leaders and technicians to provide seamless, high-quality services. Maintain accountability for all solids control activities, ensuring operational readiness. Report directly to the Basin Area Manager, providing crucial insights that extend beyond the rig site. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and exemplary leadership skills to uphold Stage 3's reputation for safety and operational excellence. Essential Functions: Work 17 days on and 11 days off, in a 12-hour shift format, including overtime. Oversee a team of up to 20 technicians under varied shifts. Travel to remote rig locations in the United States as needed. Ensure adherence to operational protocols and safety standards. Provide guidance in the operation and maintenance of solids control equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Perform drilling fluid analysis and manage various solids control services. Complete daily audits and reports to maintain operational standards. Engage in mentoring and coaching of technicians. Participate in shop work as needed on crossover days. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment for the crew. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong leadership and mentoring capability. Ability to build effective professional relationships on-site. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Customer service-focused with a professional demeanor. Mechanically inclined with knowledge of electrical systems. Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office applications. Prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to comply with safety certifications and training. Minimum Required Education, Credentials, and Experience: High School diploma or GED preferred; Associate's degree or technical diploma in a relevant field is a plus. 3+ years of experience in Solids Control Field operations, including supervisory experience. Experience with rig-up and rig-down procedures. Proof of excellent safety and performance records within field operations.
