Job Description

Inventory Control Specialist This position controls and executes inventory movement supporting production and engineering. Duties will include transacting inventory movement in NetSuite, labeling, stocking, retrieving parts, counting, separating, and delivering materials. Complete inventory transfers and adjustments in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Maintain updated and accurate inventory records in ERP. Coordinate and perform Cycle Counts and annual Physical Inventory while making appropriate inventory adjustments. Develop, manage, and execute internal inventory requests. Validate inventory against pick lists and issue parts to production work orders. Kit production work orders and deliver to the production floor. Stock inventory items and maintain warehouse. Work with Master Scheduler to support engineering changes to parts and Bill of Materials (BOM). Order materials needed for the warehouse. Maintain and manage hardware Kanban. Respond to internal and external customer problems or complaints. Backup and/or assist with Shipping and Receiving as needed. Other duties as assigned. ERP or other inventory management systems experience. NetSuite preferred. 3 years related work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, preferred. Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment) Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
