Job Description

Parts Mover Parts Movers are responsible for transporting piece parts, modules, tooling, and materials throughout the facility to support engine overhaul operations. Parts Movers ensure components are properly routed between departments (Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection, Repair, Assembly, Test, Shipping) while maintaining traceability, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures. Parts Movers handle engine components carefully to prevent damage and verify documentation before transferring items. They assist in staging work orders, organizing inventory, and supporting production flow to ensure on-time delivery. Completes forms and electronic transactions associated with work assignments according to established procedures. Job description: Transporting parts from one department to the next one Packaging and staging parts for transport between buildings Organizing and maintaining module storage area and other locations Delivery of serviceable parts to Parts Ready Area (PRA) Ensuring accurate location scanning Researching Quantum ERP & resolving location scanning inaccuracies Staging parts to enable efficient processing in First-In First-Out Order (FIFO) through each shop Utilizing proper material handling techniques Maintaining, organizing and resupplying material handling supplies including bins, crates, bubble wrap, bags, etc Job qualifications: The ideal candidate must: Be able to work in a high-output, fast-paced production environment Safely lift and transport parts, tooling, and materials (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as required) Operate material handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified or willing to train) Follow all Company-provided and OSHA-required safety procedures Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accurate routing and documentation Have the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and scheduled days off Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Be comfortable with computer basics and operating software such as Microsoft Windows and ERP systems Must be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis Essential knowledge, skills and abilities: High School diploma or equivalent required Material Handling experience aerospace industry preferred Working knowledge of material handling standards Attention to detail & good organizational skills Basic knowledge of Computers & Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
