Job Description: Department: President's Office Job Title: Office Assistant Number of Vacancies: 1 SSTA Supervisor: Nicole Kapurch Position Type: Non-Supervisory Number of Hours Per Week: 4-5 General Statement of Duties: Will handle organizational and administrative support tasks for the Chief of Staff. Generally involves day-to-day office tasks, such as answering phones and entering data into spreadsheets, proofreading and receiving guests, and more. Of particular concern is working on special projects associated with the priorities of the President's Office, including but not limited to community relations, liaison with state and federal government offices, and institutional liaising including with international partners. Responsibilities: Provide support to Chief of Staff Maintain and organize ongoing office tasks as assigned General office duties including back-up assistance to the President's Office Requirements: Required Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good reading and writing skills. An ability to work individually and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Proof-reading experience.
