Bilingual Podiatrist - Outpatient Clinic Location: Hempstead, NY Compensation: $130-$150/hour (DOE) A busy and growing outpatient medical clinic in Hempstead is seeking a Bilingual Podiatrist to join a well-established team providing high-quality foot and ankle care to a diverse patient population. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a stable, long-term part-time position (1 day per week) in a supportive clinical environment with strong patient volume. About the Role The podiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions in an outpatient setting, serving both adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating with primary care and specialty providers. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in an outpatient clinic setting Diagnose and treat common podiatric conditions including: Diabetic foot care Wound care and ulcer management Ingrown toenails, calluses, and infections Sports injuries and orthopedic conditions Perform in-office procedures as needed Educate patients on preventative foot care and treatment plans Document visits accurately in the EMR Communicate effectively with bilingual patient populations Must-Have Qualifications DPM degree from an accredited program Active New York State license (or ability to obtain) Bilingual required (Spanish preferred) Strong outpatient clinical skills Professional, patient-centered approach Interest in long-term placement and growth within the practice What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Part-time schedule: 1 day per week Supportive staff and strong referral base Modern clinic setting with consistent patient flow Opportunity to build a long-term podiatry presence in the community
