The City of Rahway, Police Department is recruiting a Public Safety Telecommunicator. The primary duty is answering and dispatching personnel/equipment from calls received including 911 and other duties outlined in and not limited to the Civil Service Commission title Public Safety Telecommunicator (Must be able to muti-task and work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Training will be provided but experience is an asset. Candidate must possess an NJ Basic Telecommunicator Certification. Pre-employment drug screen and background checks are performed.
