Job Title

Position: ABA Paraprofessional The ABA Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct behavioral interventions and support to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Responsibilities:Direct Student Support: Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as prescribed by the BCBA. Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction as needed. Assist with daily living skills, such as eating, toileting, and hygiene. Implement behavior reduction strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Collect data on student behavior and performance to inform treatment decisions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with BCBA, teachers, parents, and other professionals. Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other relevant meetings. Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify behavior intervention plans as needed. Professionalism and Ethics: Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards students and staff. Qualifications ABA Certificate Minimum of 48 college credits from an accredited college or university or passing the state paraprofessional exam Current and active criminal background check Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an educational setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations Willingness to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and changing diapers License/Certification: ABA Certificate (required) Ability to Commute: Bridgeton, NJ 08302 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Bridgeton, NJ 08302: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
