Posting Details Position Information Position Title Hall Director Job Responsibilities The Residence Hall Director is a full-time, 12-month position responsible for providing leadership and oversight of on-campus residential communities and processes. Hall directors are required to live in an on-campus apartment provided at no cost to the hall director, their spouse, and dependents. Additionally, the Hall Director is provided with a meal plan in order to eat with and connect with students and student staff. Management of in-hall student resources. Supervising and coordinating hall personnel. Implementing a residential curriculum. Administering judicial cases. Responding to emergency situations while serving in an on-call rotation. Promoting strong relationships among hall residents, staff, and other University constituencies. Supporting staff development. Promoting student learning and development. Supporting summer orientation, camps, and conference operations. Other duties as assigned. Anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Residence hall and/or student leadership/services experience. Demonstrated communication skills. Ability to work well with diverse populations and personalities. Commitment to student learning and development. Preferred Qualifications Residence life staff experience. Experience as a team player. Experience as a team builder. Mediation or other interpersonal communication experience. Presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory success.
