Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work Monday to Thursday schedule with weekend and holiday call responsibilities • 5 years of OR experience preferred (may consider less with strong specialty experience) • Fast-paced operating room environment requiring experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics • Must have experience with Trauma Level II procedures • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TX RN License • Epic charting system experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Travel experience highly preferred • Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer • Extensive surgical skills required including general OR, trauma, gastric sleeve, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopic sinus procedures, craniotomy, spinal fusion, joint replacements, robotic surgery with Da Vinci Xi and Mako systems • Must demonstrate competency in fire safety, latex allergy protocols, malignant hyperthermia, electrosurgical units, conscious sedation monitoring, infection control, laser safety, and wound management • One pre-approved time off allowed per contract Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive surgical services department with advanced technology and equipment including robotic surgical systems.
