Procurement Lead We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with our business objectives and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations to ensure the cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services. Oversee inventory control processes, including forecasting, stock levels, and replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking. Coordinate logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and materials. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, compliance, and customer service teams. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and other applicable regulatory requirements. Use ERP and supply chain management tools to analyze data, generate reports, and make informed decisions. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills: Proficiency in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. Strong negotiation and purchasing skills. Experience in budgeting and financial planning. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field. 5+ years of experience in procurement. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments. Excellent data analysis and reporting skills using ERP and supply chain management tools. Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position with a 9-5 schedule. Some travel within a 2-mile radius is required. Given the company's growth mode, candidates must be willing to work extra hours and be available to assist as needed. The role involves working closely with all departments and reports to the VP of Operations while collaborating with the CFO. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pine Brook, NJ. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
