Position Information Position Title Outcomes Assessment Analyst & Software Coordinator StatusJob Summary This role will support data collection, analysis, reporting, user training, and software utilization to enhance teaching, learning, and program evaluation. Essential Job Duties Maintain updated accurate data pertaining to students, educational assessments, curriculum outcomes, admissions and recruitment, alumni outcomes, mentoring activities and other student support services, and Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) client data. Serve as the primary support resource for assessment platforms (i.e., ExamSoft), assisting users with exam setup, troubleshooting, reporting, and interpretation of results. Analyze exam data, item analyses, and performance trends to support instructional improvement and outcomes assessment. Analyze and report on clinical competency and attainment data to support program review and accreditation reporting. Design, develop, implement, and maintain a database system to track outcome metrics, including veterinary students and pre-veterinary students involved in CVM grant activities. Design, develop, and maintain a dashboard to inform and provide data updates and customized reports for leadership, faculty, committees, granting agencies and accrediting bodies. Deliver accurate data and reports for projects and grants in accordance with deadlines. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports, grant proposals, and presentations related to students and programming outcomes assessment. Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides for assessment platforms and data systems. Provide group and individual training for faculty, staff and students related to assessment software, data interpretation and reporting mechanisms. Employ and propose analytical software to support data collection, management, and reporting across CVM programs, including pre-veterinary and veterinary student support programs, grants, alumni engagement, and departmental needs. Collaborate with key stakeholders including faculty, administrators, clinical services, admissions, student affairs, alumni relations and mentoring program leadership to identify assessment indicators and determine reporting needs. Maintain up-to-date working knowledge and inventory of reporting requirements from grants, governing entities, funders, and quality oversight agencies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training) Bachelor's degree in Information Management Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Physical DemandsSkills and Attributes Skills: Advanced Microsoft knowledge and analytical software proficiency. Advanced knowledge of database development, and connectivity tools and techniques. Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Adept at writing reports and presenting findings to varied size groups and diverse audiences. Ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
