Perform clinical laboratory testing which aide the physician in the crucial role of detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment and telephones Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location Demonstrates a general knowledge of standard medical laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety precautions Displays high level organizational skills including ability to multi-task and critically think Must have legible handwriting Requirement description : Associates of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical laboratory Science - REQUIRED Working knowledge of, but not limited to: LIS and HIS computer systems, specialized automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes and Pevco pneumatic tube system - REQUIRED (please put in the profile which systems/instruments the candidate has used) Generalist with Blood Bank experience - REQUIRED ASCP MLS or ASCP MLT - REQUIRED CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : ASCP Weekend Requirements : Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
