Job Summary This position plays a vital role in supporting the management team to drive the daily operations of the restaurant. As a Shift Supervisor, you will enhance the guest experience by leading and training Team Members while maintaining a professional image at all times. You will assist in coaching and developing the team to optimize sales and profitability, manage expenses, handle guest complaints, and uphold safety, sanitation, and food quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This role requires consistent attendance and commitment to excellence. Ensure each guest receives top-notch service by exemplifying CHARM and CARE. Help the management team with recruiting, training, and effective communication through daily interactions with Team Members. Comply with company policies, procedures, state and federal wage laws, and restaurant operational requirements. Ensure all equipment remains in good working order. Manage critical processes such as line checks, pull thaw, prep lists, and upholding food safety standards. Verify food is prepared according to specifications regarding portion size, preparation methods, and presentation. Assist the management team in implementing new initiatives including product launches and menu updates. Other responsibilities as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Reporting to the General Manager, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of 15 to 25 members.
