Job Description:The attending psychiatrist will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to Veteran patients in a federal medical center setting. This role includes diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in consultations and treatment planning.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinationsProvide psychotherapy and pharmacotherapyPerform medication evaluations and managementComplete physical assessments as neededConduct inpatient roundsProvide outpatient psychiatric diagnosis and treatmentOffer behavioral therapy supportParticipate in consultations and occasional commitment hearingsRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryActive, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. stateMinimum of two (2) years of clinical experienceCurrent BLS certificationNo history of license revocation, suspension, or voluntary surrender
