Strong bonus structure Competitive Base salary About Our Client The client is a respected New York City general contractor specializing in corporate interiors, tenant renovations, and highend commercial fitouts for landlords, real estate developers, and national corporate tenants. They are known for their speed, accuracy, and strong relationships with interior-focused subcontractors throughout the NYC market. Job Description Prepare detailed estimates for tenant improvement projects, including quantity takeoffs, scope analysis, and pricing. Lead bid solicitations, evaluate subcontractor proposals, perform bid leveling, and assemble final bids. Develop conceptual budgets and cost models for earlystage design packages. Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and scope documents to ensure full coverage. Recommend valueengineering options and costsaving alternatives. Maintain subcontractor relationships and keep pricing databases current. Support project turnover by clearly communicating scope, inclusions, and qualifications to the operations team. The Successful Applicant 3-7+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, with significant tenant improvement (TI) interiors experience-this is essential. Strong knowledge of interior buildouts, finishes, MEP coordination, and NYC subcontractor market pricing. Detailoriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously. Strong communicator who works well with subcontractors, design teams, and internal operations. Proficient in estimating software and digital takeoff tools; able to build budgets from schematic to final CD level. What's on Offer Competitive base salary with bonus opportunities.
