Details Rehabilitation therapy setting with PT and OT services Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekends 13-week contract assignment Serves a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general patients Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in physical or occupational therapy required; 3+ years preferred Current California PT or OT licensure required (license required if applicable) Current BLS/BCLS certification required Strong knowledge of therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes Effective written and verbal communication skills in English Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot therapy equipment Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in crisis situations Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care across all age groups Serves as a liaison between administration, physicians, patients, and other healthcare providers Involves training nursing and other hospital staff through on-the-job instruction Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in accordance with current standards and policies Oversees departmental operations including equipment safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory standards Participates in CQI and performance improvement activities Professional attire and adherence to dress code required Additional language proficiency is a plus American Traveler Job ID #P-675141.
