Diverse portfolio of projects! Dog friendly office! About Our Client This firm is a 3rd generation family-owned design build general contractor around 50 employees. They will take on any projects from a $25K fit out to a $30M ground up projects. Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate estimates. Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes. Monitor project costs and provide updates to stakeholders as needed. Identify potential risks and provide solutions to minimize cost impacts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and material costs. Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have: 5+ years of experience Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in a design-build environment. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and project management. Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and project teams. Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
