The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the implementation and management of IBOR and Quantitative Risk applications, including Asset Liability Management. As a recognized expert in business analysis, you will mentor fellow analysts and define business solutions through comprehensive understanding of industry requirements. Your role will involve solving complex problems, analyzing business needs, and ensuring alignment with MassMutual's IT strategies. Your Role: Analyze and enhance business processes, procedures, data, and rules. Work with data-centric architectures and utilize techniques to ensure data integrity. Translate critical business features into effective technical solutions. Engage confidently with stakeholders across all organizational levels. Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, mentoring colleagues as needed. Utilize your knowledge of investment management and risk management across various asset classes. Communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization. Document requirements using standard tools (Visio, Excel, Word). Work independently while also collaborating with teams to foster project success. The Impact: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be crucial in analyzing, designing, and testing applications that support MassMutual's Investment Management Unit. Your role will ensure that solutions meet both business needs and technology standards and will be key in troubleshooting across functional areas including General Investment Accounts and various investment technologies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of experience designing and implementing complex systems. 5+ years of experience in investment data and management systems. 5+ years of experience working with large data sets. Ideal Qualifications Technical Skills: Expertise in Excel and proficiency in SQL/Oracle. Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin Studio or Risk is a plus. Skilled in cooperative interactions with project managers, architects, developers, and testers. Ability to estimate design and development tasks effectively. Strong capability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences. Adept at working through complex issues under tight deadlines. Experience writing ETL requirements and overseeing specifications. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools. Soft Skills: Self-motivated individual with impressive leadership skills. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
