Job Description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate would have clear, professional communication via phone and email with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment. Job Summary: Pay: $22 - $24 per hour depending on experience. Shift: Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:30pm Office Administrator Responsibilities: Respond to customer requests involving pricing, delivery timelines, order status, and product information. Prepare and process sales orders and quotes while communicating confirmed order details. Serve as the customer representative by coordinating between customers and manufacturing teams. Partner with production to confirm shipping schedules and address order discrepancies or concerns. Share customer feedback, forecasts, and updates with internal departments. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all internal systems and processes. Provide cross-location support to other company sites when needed. Update and manage customer pricing, part numbers, and records within the Epicor ERP system. Handle return authorizations (RMAs) and issue customer invoices. Assist with ad hoc tasks and generate reports as required. Perform general administrative support tasks for office, production, and warehouse operations. Address and resolve customer complaints. Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, document details of inquiries, comments, complaints, and actions taken. Process purchase orders, forms, applications, and requests. Follow up on customer quotes to determine status and provide feedback. Maintain proficiency in using personal computers, data entry terminals, and other common office equipment and software. Office Administrator Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED 2-4 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Prior experience using ERP software; Epicor experience is preferred Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting Why you should apply....
