The ideal candidate will have experience in machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing setting, though experience in the following mechanical trades will also be considered: heavy or industrial machine mechanic (forklift, construction machinery, truck mechanic, boat mechanic). Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on various machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues. Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Rebuild and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed. Use basic welding skills to repair and fabricate machine parts. Apply basic mechanical engineering knowledge to improve machine performance and efficiency.
