Position Type: School Support Staff/Office Manager Date Posted: 2/11/2026 Location: Oxford High School Date Available: 07/29/2026 Position Title: Office Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Department: School Reports to: Principal Location: School Salary Scales: Classified Pay Scale Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: F0 ($19.72/hr)-F30(26.57/hr) Description of Position: The Office Manager supports the principal by performing daily fiscal and operational tasks. This role is responsible for bookkeeping, records management and managing sensitive documents such as student records. Acts as a liaison between the students, employees, parents and principal. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide fiscal support that maintains operational efficiency (30%) Perform fiscal support activities including bookkeeping, tracking budget expenditures, budget transfers, and reconciling accounts for assigned budget categories. Collect payments (i.e. donations, fines, fees, & fund raisers) for the purpose of completing transactions and/or securing funds. Process work orders, requisitions, and travel reimbursements in compliance with program, district, state and/or federal requirements. Ensure employees clock in/out and approve timesheets. Record and File Management (30%) Participate in meetings, workshops, and/or trainings to record minutes and provide attendee support, as needed. Assist Records Clerk with the maintenance of student files, including student registration data and student health forms. Maintain the school's master calendar, employee records, financial records, and other operational reports. Coordinate the daily operations of the school (25%) Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and supervise workload of support staff to ensure accurate and timely completion. Manage employee relations, such as fielding complaints and maintaining employee attendance reports. Manage worker's compensation activities and serve as a point of contact for Human Resources. Perform operational activities including special projects, room assignments, and work order management. Coordinate a variety of projects, functions and/or program components (i.e., facility usage, guest teachers, meetings, in-service events, travel and accommodations). Procure supplies and materials for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items. Administrative (15%) Perform administrative duties such as greet visitors, answer phone calls, take messages and sort mail. Prepare, send, and maintain school memos and documents. Input substitute requests when an employee calls out sick. Manage the principal's schedule and make appointments, as needed. Serve as administrative backup to receptionist Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience related to the above described duties All employees hired by the school district must pass a criminal background and child abuse registry check.PREFERRED SKILLS Experienced in solving conflict; maintaining confidentiality; listening to others without interrupting; and keeping emotions under control.
