ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Truck freight accounting and procedures Understanding grain policies, contracts, and programs Creating grain settlements for producers and settling intercompany grain Balancing truck settlements Defer Settlements Contract Management Lien Management within Granger Providing producers with requested information regarding their grain accounts Understand grain markets and being proficient with the board of trade Communicating with traders in all grain areas, with an emphasis on producer accounts Assisting in all grain areas as needed including billing, deposits, balancing accounts, scanning, and other miscellaneous clerical duties Becoming cross-trained in all grain accounting applications Perform all other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience in the grain industry and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
