Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Fitness Operations Manager. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fitness, sales, and helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals. You will work closely with the District Fitness Manager, both on the gym floor and in leadership initiatives, to build relationships, sell training packages, and mentor our personal trainers. Key Responsibilities: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets to drive membership growth and revenue through new personal training agreements and client retention. Collaborate with the membership sales team to facilitate new member onboarding and effective sales initiatives. Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of fitness staff, including Personal Training Managers and Trainers. Ensure proper staff payroll for timely and accurate compensation. Clearly communicate goals and expectations to all team members to foster collaboration. Verify that fitness staff maintain necessary certifications, including CPR and First Aid. Provide constructive performance feedback to staff, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing member concerns and inquiries promptly. Engage positively with members, actively listening to their needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols while maintaining facility cleanliness and equipment. Manage effective communication during emergencies and disruptions to prioritize safety. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years management experience; fitness management preferred. 3-4 years of customer service experience. Strong background or keen interest in personal training sales. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven relationship-building capabilities with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Alignment with our Core Values is essential. Requirements: Successful background check required. CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Valid personal trainer certification is mandatory. Previous sales experience is a necessity. Ability to work effectively in a gym environment. Competence in utilizing the company’s computer system.
