Weekend Overnight Maintenance TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Weekend Overnight Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and industrial maintenance experience. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to breakdowns during overnight weekend shifts. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, safety‑focused, and comfortable working independently.Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical and industrial maintenance on production and facility equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Assist with equipment changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company maintenance standards Communicate equipment status and issues to supervisors and incoming shifts Qualifications 3+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Schedule Weekend Overnight Shift | 3 12 hour shifts Friday night through Monday morning - 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Preferred Skills Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, or industrial machinery Basic electrical knowledge (low‑voltage, sensors, motors, controls) Familiarity with CMMS systems Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mason City, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
