In this role, you'll work directly with members to guide them through the consumer loan process, open accounts, and identify the best financial solutions to fit their needs.If you're ready to take the next step in your lending career with an organization that values people first, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do: Originate and process a variety of consumer loan applications, including auto loans, personal loans, and lines of creditProvide one-on-one financial guidance, helping members understand loan options, documentation requirements, and credit decisionsPromote and cross-sell credit union products and services, including credit life, disability, GAP, and warranty products, to support members' financial well-being.Open new member and business accounts independently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with credit union policiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of lending regulations, credit union policies, and consumer protection lawsEnsure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and internal standardsCollaborate with underwriting and other departments to ensure smooth loan processing and resolution of complex applicationsProactively reach out to members through outbound calling and other channels to identify new loan and product opportunitiesPrioritize and effectively manage walk-in traffic, online applications, and referral activity to meet service and production goalsContribute to team goals for loan growth, deposit growth, and product penetrationProvide support for marketing promotions and suggest new product or service ideasHandle member inquiries with professionalism and tact, resolving issues and maintaining positive relationships What We're Looking For: A four-year degree or equivalent experience in consumer lending or financial services preferred1-3 years of direct experience in loan origination or financial servicesStrong knowledge of lending practices, credit analysis, and account opening proceduresAbility to manage multiple loan requests while providing excellent member serviceHigh integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with loan origination or financial systems Why Town & Country Credit Union?At Town & Country Credit Union, our mission is to positively impact those we serve.
