Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technologist III, performing diagnostic ultrasound studies following established protocols and physician instructions. This role requires accuracy and efficiency to meet turnaround times while preparing detailed reports for physician interpretation and ensuring high-quality imaging. Essential Responsibilities: Conduct abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, pediatric, small parts, and vascular ultrasound studies. Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care, anticipating patient and family needs to enhance comfort and safety. Assist with patient transportation and collaborate with regulatory and accrediting agencies to maintain departmental compliance. Perform equipment quality control and report any variances for service. Respond professionally to on-call coverage within one hour. Adhere to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, team members, physicians, and external agencies. Education: Associate degree or higher in Ultrasound from a two-year college or technical school. Experience: Preferred two years of clinical experience post-graduation. Licenses and Certifications: Must hold Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials, with certifications in Abdomen (AB) and OB/GYN. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic techniques, proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and EMR systems, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Light work involving occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and frequent lifting up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday.
