Job Title: Software Developer - Mainframe/Cobol This position will be working as Software Developer for Aquent Studios on projects for one of its top clients, John Deere, located in Moline, IL. Technology Skill Set: • IBM Mainframe experience in JCL, TSO, SAS, COBOL, SQL, IMS transactions. Major Duties: • Develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems. • Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications. • Analyzes assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives. • Executes necessary documentation, as directed, or needed. • Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs. • Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation. • Working in a scrum/agile team environment What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position? 1) IBM Mainframe experience in JCL, TSO, SAS, COBOL, SQL, IMS transactions.
