MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education - An associate's degree in human services or related field is preferred. Experience - A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in tribal community services. Licenses & Certification - Valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required. Incumbent must be insurable. Knowledge & Skills - Knowledge and skill in the use computer applications in MS Windows environment. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Skill and ability to participate and work as a team member and good facilitation skills. Ability to courteously and effectively communicate with patients and their families, MNHS Staff, outside agencies and the general public both orally and in writing. Ability to follow BHS guidelines, IHS guidelines and established MNHS Policies and Procedures. Ability to learn the procedures, formats and maintains protocol of the Health System. JOB SUMMARY The incumbent will assist with in-school and after-school outdoor experiential education activities and to ensure that information gets disseminated in a timely fashion and provide administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the program to achieve goals, objectives and operations of the Health System. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office, school and community settings. Occasional travel will be required in the performance of duties. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position requires normal office work, driving a GSA vehicle to arranged job sites, standing and being active during events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for exhibiting quality customer services skills to participants in person or on the phone. Willing to learn through professional and personal development training. Able to provide wilderness and adventure based experiential growth opportunities for youth in the form of but not limited to initiative games, service learning, projects, ropes course initiatives and outdoor activities. Able to manage and monitor youth in program activities that strive to maintain the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students in order to help build confidence, appropriate socializing skills, fair play and good sportsmanship, and responsible problem-solving skills. Schedule and implement personal growth activities for youth during and after school. Attend staff meetings as required. Perform a variety of duties such as completing time sheets, monitoring and maintaining outdoor equipment and monitoring participants. Coordinates with providers for delivery of services. Servers as an assistant to the program and provide support to all program and behavioral health staff as directed. Prepares and types reports, memoranda, correspondence form written drafts, verbal instructions, or dictation in accordance with format and style. Responsible for correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. Attends all program meetings as directed by Project Director and prepare written documentation of such meetings. Maintains schedule/appointment in Outlook for program staff. Works closely with Project Director to assure all reporting deadlines are met and assists in preparing reports.
