About the job REGISTERED NURSE - EMERGENCY ROOM - NIGHTS JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-Registered Nurse - Emergency RoomRN-ERFull-Time NIGHTS Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Room will have the following job responsibilities: Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually You will provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient focused and safety aware at all times JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Emergency RoomRN-ERFull-Time NIGHTS Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Room must meet the following minimum job qualifications: 1 year of Recent (within the last 2-3 years) Acute Care RN experience (looking for ED, ICU, PCU experience; If a candidate has paramedic experience in their background, its a plus) Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
