Job Description

Overview BISSELL Pet Foundation's (BPF) Associate Development Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to advance the Foundation's fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This role supports development initiatives by maintaining accurate donor and gift records in the CRM, processing gifts, sending donor acknowledgements including receipts, building mailing and donor recognition lists and regularly reporting on fundraising progress. They will also supports BPF's external communications, including monitoring the general email inbox and responding to phone inquiries. They will ensure tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with BPF's mission and organizational goals. ResponsibilitiesFacilitate entire donation lifecycle by processing and recording donations (including online gifts, wires, mailed checks, venmo, PayPal, etc.). Maintain accurate and up-to-date donation and donor records, ensuring data integrity and performing routine database cleanup. Pull reports and queries from donation database detailing weekly donations, donor specific information, and other information as needed. Donor acknowledgement duties including sending thank you cards, gift receipts, etc. Identify and research prospective donors, gathering information on giving history, interests, and alignment with BPF's mission. Support annual, monthly, and special giving campaigns. Data entry into various data management systems including Raisers Edge. Assist with Blocktail event logistics, including sponsorship tracking, RSVPs, and event check-in and receipting. Monitor, review, and respond to inquiries sent to BISSELL Pet Foundation's general email inbox, ensuring timely and professional communication. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Collaborate with the Communications team to support social media and Public Relations initiatives. Schedule meetings and take notes; distribute to attendees. Assist team with execution of special projects and events (clinics, transports, etc.). Assist with other duties and responsibilities as needed including providing administrative and functional support. QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLS Degree minimum: Bachelor's Degree Specific concentration preferred: Non-profit related degrees, Business Administration, Communications Experience level: 1-2 Years Administrative Experience Preferred Database Experience: 1+ Years Database Experience Preferred (Specifically CRM Database, preferably Blackbaud Raisers Edge, OneCause) Strong multitasking and organizational skills Experience in MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Professional verbal and written communication skills WHAT'S NEXT, APPLY NOW!
