Providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school environment in Palmer, AK, this contract position offers an opportunity to support student development and participation throughout the school year, concluding in May 2027. The role requires an onsite presence and direct student engagement, with approximately 16 hours (1000 minutes) of weekly student contact. Key responsibilities include: Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of school-aged children. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote academic and functional success. Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student goals. Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school district policies and procedures. Participating in assessments and contributing to multidisciplinary meetings. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Alaska occupational therapy licensure is required. Preferred certification for occupational therapy in school settings. Experience working with children in K-12 educational environments. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
