Margin/OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs Specialty: MS/Tele Float Pool, 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position Holiday RTO Dates: Only one day of holiday RTO can be requested (Holiday dates include: 11/23, 11/24, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1 - with a cap of up to 3 consecutive days during holiday week including the holiday). Travelers must be open to working all holidays besides approved RTO (noting: they may not be scheduled for all but they must be open to working all) Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:6-1:7+ This is a fast pace/high case load facility - please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting - Experience Required: At least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required, SCREEN if 1.5 years experience but all required skills. First time travelers are NOT accepted Every other weekend required Floating Required: Will call the staffing Office daily for unit location or may be pre-assigned to a unit for 2-3 weeks. Will work 1-2 units within a 12 hr. shift. Will be assigned RMC & NMC (hospitals are 5 miles apart). May be asked to float to the other campus mid-shift if needed. Certifications Required: BCLS Certifications Preferred: ACLS Skills Required: MS/Tele, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Respiratory/Thoracic Experience, Wound Care/Wound Vac Experience Skills Preferred: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown Experience, Telemetry Experience, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac Must pass cardiac exam during orientation EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation Perm staff must have been termed for 12 months and must be greater then 85 miles from the facility Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect Unit Info As part of the Float Pool, staff are assigned to every acute care unit within RMC and NMC. Northport Medical Center Units: PCU & acute Rehab.
