Your Impact This position is essential for maintaining precise financial records and ensuring timely, compliant payment processing throughout the organization. You'll be a vital contributor to smooth month-end close activities, nurturing strong vendor relationships, and ensuring a reliable procure-to-pay process, all while championing continuous improvement efforts within our finance team. Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payments accurately and promptly. Support financial reporting integrity through reconciliations, accruals, and resolving discrepancies. Contribute to efficient workflows and uphold robust internal controls in accounts payable operations. Deliver high-quality, responsive support to both internal stakeholders and external vendors. Your Responsibilities Input supplier invoices and miscellaneous payment requests while investigating and resolving discrepancies. Review employee expense reports for correct coding and compliance with Stout's expense policy. Assist corporate cardholders by answering inquiries and monitoring activity for timely expense submissions. Prepare monthly accrual journal entries and assist with month-end close activities. Conduct bank reconciliations to confirm that all transactions are accurately recorded. Manage and maintain vendor documentation, processing updates and changes as necessary. Support weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks. Monitor workflows in Workday to ensure prompt processing and approval of payments. Investigate vendor statement discrepancies, payment inquiries, and general ledger issues. Assist with the annual 1099 review and ensure timely filing with the IRS. Participate in special projects, process improvements, and additional duties as assigned. Your Qualifications 2-6 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role. Solid understanding of accounting principles, mathematical concepts, and deductive reasoning. Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel. Experience with Workday ERP is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Exceptional accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly. The expected pay range for this role is $28.37 - $36.00 per hour, with eligibility for an annual bonus plan. Available benefits depend on eligibility.
