Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details:• Work 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days per week coverage required• Every other weekend coverage required• On-call responsibilities up to 3 times per week with 30-minute response time required• Weekday call rotation: 3 times per week when not on weekends, 2 times on weeks scheduled for weekend call• Average daily census of 6 patients• Must work independently and confidently in all CCL procedures• 24 hours of orientation provided• 2 years of experience required in specialty• Travel experience required• Required certifications: CCI RCIS, ACLS, ARRT R, BLS• Must have Louisiana license or Compact license in hand upon submittal• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)• Epic charting system experience required• Must perform cardiac, peripheral, vascular, EP, and IR procedures• Experience required with advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, and Diamondback• Must be comfortable with STEMI protocols and maintaining D2B times under 60 minutes• Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset required• May be assigned to Emergency Team during weather events or emergencies• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations Facility:This progressive healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory performing cardiac, peripheral, vascular, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens and Canon imaging systems, advanced interventional devices, and utilizes Epic EMR with Cupid documentation. The organization maintains a highly efficient Code STEMI team with system-best door-to-balloon times and operates 3 procedure rooms with modern technology to support complex cardiovascular interventions.
