Job Details Location: Mauston, WI 53948 (Juneau County) - Wisconsin nursing jobs Setting: Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: March 5, 2026 End Date: June 4, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 34 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750-$1,840 per week Shift Schedule: Week One: Sat & Sun 1pm-10:30pm, Wed 1pm-10:30pm, Thu 9pm-6:30am Week Two: Sat & Sun 6am-10:30pm, Wed 2pm-10:30pm, Fri 10pm-6:30am Shift Duration: 8 Hour Evenings (primary shift) On-Site Position: Must be available to work on-site at the facility Job Requirements Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) Current CPR/BLS certification (required) Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience; Long Term Care (LTC) or geriatric nursing experience preferred Strong clinical skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Experience with medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments; familiarity with EHR/charting preferred Responsibilities Provide direct resident care on the long term care unit, including skilled nursing and geriatric care Complete resident assessments, head-to-toe evaluations, and care plans following facility protocols Administer medications safely and accurately following the 5 Rights of medication administration Perform wound care, dressing changes, and ongoing wound assessments as needed Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and care team members in a timely manner Assist and collaborate with CNAs and support staff-answer call lights and monitor residents for changes in condition Lead and direct floor staff when assigned, promoting high standards of resident care and teamwork Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator per policy Maintain accurate, timely resident records, documentation, and EHR/charting Perform other duties as assigned to support quality outcomes in the skilled nursing facility Why Join Us: This travel nursing opportunity in Mauston, WI is ideal for RNs seeking hands-on long term care experience, flexible shift schedules, and a welcoming Wisconsin community.
