This is a new position.School-Based Social Worker - Job DescriptionA School-Based Social Worker supports students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to help them succeed in school. They provide counseling, crisis intervention, and connect students and families with school resources. The social worker collaborates with teachers, administrators, and special education teams, participates in IEP and 504 meetings, and helps address barriers to learning such as academics, attendance, behavior, and family concerns.License Requirement:Must hold a valid state-issued Social Work license (e.g., Licensed Master Social Worker [LMSW] or Licensed Clinical Social Worker [LCSW]). Social Work degree required.
