Details Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment Patient population spans all ages from pediatric to geriatric, ranging across the full continuum of illness to wellness Rotating Day (7a-7p) and Mid Shift (10a-10p) schedule Every 3rd weekend required 13-week contract with 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Requirements Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC ATCN preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant Emergency Department RN experience Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred Proficiency in computer-based clinical documentation Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Additional Information Performs triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level triage process Administers IV fluids, blood and blood products, medications, and executes emergency resuscitation protocols Maintains legally and medically acceptable ED documentation using medical terminology Coordinates care across multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing patient flow and timely delivery of care Collaborates with providers, peers, and ancillary departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective patient care May participate in providing educational experiences for pre-hospital emergency providers and students DOB and SSN may be required for consideration American Traveler Job ID #P-680750.
