Title: MRI Technologist Location: New York , NY Employment Type: Contract Compensation Pay Range:$56.35-$80.50 Per Hr Description This role involves performing magnetic imaging procedures using specialized equipment. The technologist will ensure diagnostic quality images are produced according to protocols and patient needs. Responsibilities include patient positioning, safety checks, and equipment maintenance in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI imaging procedures. Position patients for optimal imaging. Educate patients about imaging procedures. Review patient safety questionnaires. Label MRI images as per SOP. Evaluate images for acceptability and transmit to PACS. Maintain cleanliness of the radiology room and equipment. Requirements Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy and physical sciences. Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Experience with radiology information systems. Ability to adhere to infection control policies. Ability to maintain safety standards. Ability to perform clerical duties as needed. Ability to assist physicians directly. Qualifications Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology. NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology. A.R.R.T. MRI registry. BCLS Certified.
