ARDMS Sonographer A reputable hospital in Mississippi, in collaboration with MLR, is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join its dynamic imaging team. This position offers multiple shifts to accommodate various schedules while providing essential diagnostic services through ultrasound technology. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular imaging, following established protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining processes and answering any questions. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information, including real-time imaging and interpretation. Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functioning through regular maintenance and quality assurance checks. Document and report findings accurately, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards. ARDMS Sonographer Requirements: Certification: ARDMS certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent. Licensure: Valid state license in Mississippi as a Sonographer (if applicable). Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred; new graduates with appropriate training are also encouraged to apply. Skills: Proficient in ultrasound imaging techniques, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
