VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide vital behavioral health services at the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) facility in Jena. This role offers a unique chance to serve within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, supporting detainees with complex mental health needs while advancing your professional expertise. In this position, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct mental health services, including individual and group psychotherapy, substance abuse education, and behavioral analysis. Your expertise will help improve behavioral health outcomes and ensure compliance with federal standards. Required Skills: Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Current, unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW in Louisiana Minimum of one year of independent clinical social work experience Proficiency in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Knowledge of HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations regarding patient confidentiality Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Nice to Have Skills: Experience in detention, correctional, or residential healthcare settings Familiarity with the Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish Experience providing telehealth or tele-behavioral health services Preferred Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited CSWE program At least one year of post-licensure clinical experience Prior experience implementing mental health treatment programs or working within a correctional or detention environment Other Requirements: Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Willingness to participate in rotational on-call coverage Physical ability to respond swiftly to medical emergencies and assist patients during crises Successful completion of background checks and security clearances required by DHS and ICE This full-time role offers competitive pay at $45/hour, with an effective blended rate of $46.80/hour including holiday pay, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid sick leave, and more.
