Position: Order Fulfillment Associate Starting Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Standard + bonuses. Schedule: Swing shift - 4 days/week with 10+ hour shifts. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho. Job Responsibilities: The Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for picking various stock to fill customer orders Use scanning devices to pick product and fulfill customer orders Places product in totes and packages items correctly Places Totes/Full case items on sorting belt/rollers for Loading Clerks Follows safety rules for warehouse Regularly communicates with Coworkers, Leads, and Supervisors for efficiency Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned Working Conditions: Capitol has Ambient Fulfillment Clerks, Refrigerated Fulfillment Clerks, and Freezer Fulfillment Clerks. Individuals working in freezer conditions will be provided adequate cold gear and receive additional hourly differentials. Fulfillment Clerks in the Refrigerated section will be provided with gloves and PPE. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement to meet order demands. Individuals in this position should expect to move throughout modules stocked with product. The position will require general physical movements such as walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, occasionally lifting 50+lbs, and reaching. Individuals will also be expected to follow and understand basic instructions/policies.
