Your Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a seasoned and collaborative Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Lead to become a pivotal member of our talented consulting team. This is a full-time position with travel to client locations as necessary. What You'll Do: Advise on best practices related to Oracle Cloud Payroll policies. Serve as an expert in configuring and managing Oracle Cloud Payroll applications. Provide guidance on payroll business processes and implementation best practices. Assist in defining and validating payroll-related conversion activities. Deliver weekly status reports to the project management team. Coordinate with other module resources to implement optimal solutions for clients. Act as an Oracle Cloud Payroll Subject Matter Expert, interpreting business requirements into appropriate configurations. Create and update test scripts for functional testing. Maintain system documentation and suggest procedural enhancements. Drive continuous process improvement and share insights on best practices. Support critical system processes, including payroll cycle management, monthly payroll accruals, and garnishment processing. Collaborate with technical teams to guide integrations, conversions, and reporting. This role can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Required Technical and Professional Expertise What You'll Bring: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Payroll Lead, with 2-4 years in Oracle Cloud implementation. Experience with public sector clients, including state governments, counties, and cities, is a plus. Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Tools like HCM Extract, HDL, and PBL preferred. Experience with monthly and quarterly patch testing and issue resolution. Ability to lead the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration, and testing. Assist clients with identifying business requirements and suggesting process improvements. Capability to produce end-user documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams. Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being a collaborative team member. Exceptional verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
