Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and report any illegal activities. Maintain safe and clean work areas according to company and health regulations. Assist in managing inventory and placing orders with wholesalers. Organize and maintain product stations and customer areas to uphold standards. Accurately prepare and dispense medications while adhering to best practices. Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, including reception and data entry. Support the pharmacist in day-to-day tasks that do not require professional judgment. Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Actively participate in health and wellness initiatives provided by the company. Handle cash transactions and adhere to guidelines to minimize shrinkage. Effectively resolve conflicts in a calm and rational manner. Support individuals, including minors and older adults, with direct assistance. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to manage confidential information securely. Must meet state requirements for pharmacy functions. Desirable Qualifications Previous experience in a pharmacy or as a pharmacy clerk. Familiarity with EPRN systems.
