As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a leading hospitality company known for its award-winning culture. On the Cloud Platform Engineering and Operations team, reporting directly to the Senior Lead Project Manager, you will manage exciting projects such as cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, network and security architecture, AI/ML platforms, BC/DR, and enterprise integrations. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Your role is crucial, and you will undertake the following key responsibilities: Your daily responsibilities will include: Developing project plans and schedules; documenting them in Confluence and Microsoft Project Creating and assigning Jira tasks for project work and ensuring team members complete their tasks Providing project status updates using Jira epics and Microsoft PowerPoint How you will collaborate with others: Scheduling weekly project meetings to enhance planning and execution Leading project teams to achieve project scope and deliverables Coordinating with team members to update monthly program reports Participating in daily PEP escalation calls as a representative of the Cloud Platform Engineering team What projects you will own: Implementing QuickSuite Dashboards and cost allocation to minimize delays and errors in cloud billing data Enhancing DataDog functionality to improve MTTR and MTTD during cloud-based incidents Conducting a POC to evaluate ECS Fargate versus other application deployment methods like EKS WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT Minimum qualifications: A minimum of five years of professional experience in Technology or a related field At least five years of project management experience Five years of experience using Microsoft Project and Jira Three years of experience with Waterfall project management and PMP methodologies Willingness to work in a hybrid role based near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, or Memphis) Travel up to 5% Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree plus six years of Technology-related experience, or a High School Degree/GED plus twelve years of Technology-related experience Seven years of professional experience in Technology or a related field Seven years of project management experience PMP Certification WHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON Hilton, ranked as the #1 World's Best Workplace, is a premier global hospitality company with a portfolio of world-class brands.
