About the Job 20203-1 Configuration Management Level 2, Andover, MA (Secret/Interim Secret)DESCRIPTION You will be the Senior Configuration Analyst for the Configuration Management & Data Integrity Team. Our team safeguards product truth, trust, and traceability (T3) by governing revision control, documentation traceability, and baseline management across engineering and manufacturing - the backbone of every Lockheed Martin breakthrough. What You Will Be Doing: As the Senior Configuration Analyst you will be responsible for driving configuration-baseline control and data-management rigor for critical defense programs. Working side-by-side with world-class design engineers, you'll design, develop, and sustain traceability processes, evaluate engineering change proposals, and ensure all CM/DM practices meet contractual and internal standards throughout the product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Manage product revision control and maintain the authoritative configuration baseline. Design and support documentation-traceability workflows for manufacturing and engineering teams. Review, log, categorize, and track engineering changes against approved customer baselines. Analyze Technical Data Packages and notify impacted stakeholders of configuration impacts. Ensure CM and DM processes are fully compliant with contract, regulatory, and internal requirements. Lead change-management activities from concept through product sustainment. Contribute to special projects and cross-site initiatives that enhance T3 fidelity. Produce clear, concise communications and documentation for highly detailed, mission-critical work. Mentor junior analysts and share best practices within the team. Duration: 3/16/2026-2/5/2027 Non-Exempt Contract Position Worker will work Onsite Full Time MANDATORY:Associate's degree with at least 10 years of Configuration Management-related experience. Experience with the application of CM-related policies, procedures and tools. Ability to understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), and drawings. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-disciplined teams. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite Products (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong and accurate attention to detail. Business Acumen Self-starter and independent working attributes are essential. Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational and document management skills. DESIRED:Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of professional experience. CM Certifications are preferred. Experience with Product Life cycle Management (PLM) systems. Experience with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, and/or Confluence. Configuration Management Principles and Applications SAE EIA-649. Familiarity with electronics manufacturing or design. Previous experience in a defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environment would be a plus.
