Dock/Utility Worker Peru, IL ADM Terminal Services This is a full time, hourly position. Job Summary: Load and unload sand trucks. Cover and uncover barges. Set up and run facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Basic housekeeping: including sweeping and shoveling of sand. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate truck dumps Load and unload sand trucks Operate MCC controls for equipment Perform maintenance on conveying equipment Keep work area clean Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders and stairs Ability to adapt to ever changing job responsibilities Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Willing to work overtime, weekends and nights Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude Ability to work with heights, work in confined spaces Work in environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dust environment This is a full time position with varying shifts. Qualifications: To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria: High school education or equivalent is preferred Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, shovel material, sweep and dust ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
