Position: Sr. Administrative Assistant Department: Student Life Department Supervisor: Director of Student Life Description: Full Time, 12-months Benefits Eligible Union Status: Non-Collective Bargaining (non-union) PRIMARY DUTIES: Serve as primary point of contact. Maintains a welcoming and professional environment for ASD staff as well as all external visitors. Coordinates meetings and events. Prepare and disseminate reports as required. Responsible for filing, scanning, and tracking of contracts. Processes purchase orders for several departments Generates correspondence as requested. Participates in and assists with special projects. Provide coverage for receptionist. Other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong organizational skills, highly detail oriented and consistent follow-through on assignments Requires ability to manage multiple priorities. Discretion, tact, and high regard for confidentiality required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree preferred, with at least 1-3 years' experience in an office setting (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Working knowledge of American Sign Language preferred, or willingness to learn. Compensation range is based on experience and available upon request. ASD is ALL ways able.
