HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition/Performance/Compliance Job Category: Human Resources Requisition Number: HRGEN001699 Location: Lancaster, NY 14086, USA Full-Time, On-site Description What You Will Do Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Partner with managers and business leaders to align people practices with organizational goals and workforce needs. Maintain and manage recruitment activities within the HRIS, including job requisitions, postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and offboarding. Evaluate candidate qualifications and conduct interviews aligned with job requirements and team culture. Coordinate job postings, recruitment campaigns, and partnerships with community organizations and staffing agencies. Support initiatives that strengthen employer brand and candidate experience. Support new employee orientation and onboarding programs. Performance Management Support leaders in managing employee performance through coaching, feedback, and development planning. Partner with HR manager and department managers to address workplace challenges and employee relations concerns. Guide leaders on HR policies, best practices, and people management strategies. Contribute to strengthening leadership capability across the organization. Employee Engagement & Culture Participate in initiatives that promote communication, recognition, and organizational development. Partner with managers and employees to improve workplace relationships, strengthen engagement, and support retention initiatives. HR Analytics & Reporting Assist in developing and maintaining HR dashboards that provide insight into turnover, recruiting performance, headcount, and workforce trends. Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows through better system utilization and automation. Help identify insights from HR data that inform workforce planning and people strategies. Compliance & HR Operations Support the administration and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Assist with updates and maintenance of the employee handbook. Maintain records and reporting to ensure compliance with EEO, AAP, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain accurate employee personnel records and documentation. HR Team & Organizational Initiatives Actively contribute to HR team meetings and departmental initiatives. Support projects focused on improving HR processes and employee programs. Recommend improvements to HR systems, policies, and programs that increase organizational effectiveness. What We're Looking For Required 35 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a Generalist role Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence leaders and employees Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting Ability to balance employee advocacy with business priorities Preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification Experience supporting both manufacturing and office environments is preferred Experience coaching managers or supporting performance management processes Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work in both office and production environments, which may involve moderate noise levels, temperature variation, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. The expected salary range for this position is $68,000 $75,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, certifications, and internal equity.
