Job Description

Join our dynamic Core Tax team as a Client Relations Coordinator. In this engaging role, you will be the key point of contact for clients regarding non-technical inquiries, assisting them with document coordination, technology tools, and maintaining open lines of communication. Collaborating closely with Partners and Managers, you'll help streamline processes, ensure timely delivery of tax-related work, and support internal operations including billing, reporting, and data management. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Communication Act as the primary contact for clients on non-technical inquiries. Request, track, and organize necessary supporting documents. Follow up on engagement letters, consents, and e-file forms. Assist clients with Suralink, TaxCaddy, SafeSend, and other tax technology tools. Serve as an additional point of contact for technical questions when necessary. Partner/Manager Assistance Prepare and roll Axcess tax returns and engagement binders. Organize documents within Engagement, SP Binders, and GFR. Help with extension preparation and identify bottlenecks in aging returns. Draft PBC and Open Items Lists. Assist with e-file rejections and schema errors. Submit engagement letters and set up new returns in CCH Axcess. Prepare TEAFs and submit POAs. Support billing through the creation of WIP reports. Assist in researching IRS notices and drafting responses. Collect financials for quarterly estimates and work with Partners on required client estimations. Reporting & Technology Support Facilitate due date reporting processes. Analyze data with Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP). Generate custom reports as needed. Manage client accounts in Suralink and TaxCaddy. Review incoming client documents for readiness for tax preparation. Publish tax returns and related documents using Suralink/TaxCaddy. Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to quickly learn new software platforms to provide effective support. Exceptional communication, organizational, and technical skills, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines and proactively address problems. Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrable integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness. Education & Experience Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a client service-oriented environment. Administrative experience is required. Experience in a tax firm is preferred but not necessary.
