WDH is a regional leader in the Seacoast area, performing over 1,800 procedures annually. The lab maintains a 24/7 STEMI readiness program with a "door-to-device" benchmark of 55 minutes, significantly faster than the national 90-minute target.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic & Interventional Procedures: Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, and pericardiocentesis.Electrophysiology (EP): Support advanced EP studies and ablations (SVT/AFib) conducted in collaboration with Mass General specialists.Device Implantation: Aid in the placement of pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, and CardioMEMS monitoring systems.Vascular Interventions: Scrub for peripheral angiography, fistulagrams, and IVC filter placement/removal.Hemodynamic Monitoring: Utilize specialized monitoring systems to interpret intra-cardiac pressures and rhythms during high-stakes procedures.Requirements & QualificationsCertification: Active ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required.Licensure: Must hold a valid New Hampshire Medical Imaging License.Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume interventional setting is preferred.Life Support: Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.Residency Restriction: Candidates living within 40 miles of the facility will not be considered (Travelers only).Call ExpectationsVolume: Expect 10–12 days of on-call coverage per month.Response Time: While not explicitly listed in the order, typical WDH STEMI protocols require a 30-minute response time to the facility once paged.Rotating Coverage: Call includes weeknights and intermittent weekends.Facility Spotlight: Center for Heart HealthThis Lab is part of a nationally accredited program recognized for patient safety and clinical quality.
